The Studio

My home studio space is a 12x10 “she-shed”. We moved into our home in July of 2022 and shortly after began the project of remodeling the existing shed in the backyard. With the help of some local tradesmen, my “she-shed” was born.

I offer a fully insulated space with air conditioning for the warmer months and heat in the colder months. The well-lit, bright and clean space is where I do all of my studio work. Using this small space challenges my creativity to make the most of each square foot.

You can find some of my work that was created in this space under the studio newborn, maternity, milestones, and family tabs on my website. For your convenience, some examples of my work using this space are posted below!

Studio Newborn

This space has allowed me to comfortably capture those precious memories in the early days of little ones lives. I create different sets for the session based on the requests of the families and also create a set for family portraits as well. A more lifestyle approach can be done in this space, or more traditional studio family portraits.

Maternity

My studio is perfect for studio maternity as well. I am able to set up two different backdrops at once to capture gorgeous, timeless, and classic studio maternity portraits. Different sets are created based on the request of the client.

Milestones

These are some of my most popular sessions done in my studio. This space allows me to create fun and inviting sets for little ones to celebrate their special milestones. I welcome all little ones to take the time to explore the space at the beginning of our session to be sure that they are safe and comfortable.

Families

I also welcome families in my studio space. With family sessions, I typically take a more lifestyle and informal approach to portraits. I style a "lifestyle" set with more of a comfortable, timeless decor. Standard studio portraits can be done on request.
