I am so happy to have you here and for your interest in my work!

I have always loved taking pictures of my surroundings and others. In everything I do, I always try to capture a moment that I can look back on to help me remember the day, and the moments with the ones I love. 

This passion grew when I had my daughter Kasyn in July of 2020, capturing her moments and milestones brought me so much joy, I decided to start capturing moments for others as well! I love taking photos that truly elicit an emotional response both for myself, and my clients!

My daughter is my muse and my reason for everything I do in life, her middle name is Raye, hence the name of my photography business. I also have a love for the sun and all things warm so a bit of a play on words is the idea behind “Raye of Sun Photography”. My style includes very warm, emotive, and candid portraits. 

I have been a hobbyist photographer since 2011 and took three years of photography related courses. I officially begun my own photography business in November of 2020, since then, I have been published in several photography magazines, and captured memories for hundreds of wonderful clients. 

Outside of photography, another professional love of mine is Social Work, I am a masters level social worker as of October 2021. Social work has afforded me the skills within my photography business to think critically and creatively, remain organized, and care deeply for those around me.
